Had the misfortune of hiring a cowboy to fit new bathroom. After a leak in toilet downstairs asked Charlie from Galico to have a look. He came in sorted out leak and all the other problems with new bathroom. He was extremely professional and friendly, going through step by step what he was doing and the reason why he was doing it. I really cannot thank him enough for giving me peace of mind and a water tight bathroom. To top it all, his prices were very fair. I would not hesitate to recommend Charlie and Galico to everyone I know.

Charlie (Galico) worked on the upgrading of our plumbing and heating system together with the total refurbishment of our family bathroom and the master bedroom en-suite in our 4 bedroom detached house. This was a big, complicated and demanding job; we are very demanding and specific in our requirements for a high quality of finish. We were personally glad that Charlie was able to work on our house, he is highly professional and a master craftsman being able to undertake plumbing, electrical and general building work to a high standard of finish. Charlie is also a dedicated worker and will not leave a task until it’s complete to your satisfaction. He also keeps you informed of what he’s doing and why he’s doing it – very rare these days. We have no hesitation in recommending Charlie and he will be our first port-of-call for future work.

We had a downstairs cloakroom (toilet and sink) fitted recently by Charlie and we were delighted with the work. It took longer than anticipated, predominantly because such a lot of thought went into trying to resolve issues that, in my experience, are generally just botched for expedience. There was never any request for an increase in the estimated cost as a result of this additional time and the cloakroom was left clean and tidy, with all old fixtures removed and disposed of.
